This series was created to demonstrate the power of real estate to heal the world. We view impact as an impetus for innovation, and innovation drives business strategies and allows owners, operators, and investors to stay one step ahead of the competition. This symposium will highlight cutting edge techniques in real estate design, construction, retrofitting, and management meant to boost a project's bottom-line and environmental or social impact.

Attendees will spend significant time networking with their peers, learning from global experts in the field, and meeting investment opportunities. By providing a safe environment for learning, discussion, and collaboration to occur, the event will allow attendees to create meaningful relationships. To encourage the formation of a unique experience, we will not have any panels, preferring intimate conversations between industry experts and real estate owners, operators, and investors.

Eddie Lorin co-founded Strategic Realty Capital as a culmination of his 25 years experience in investment real estate. SRC has a mission to provide value to its shareholders and more important, its residents. Since 2008, SRC has purchased close to 10,000 units in over 40 transactions and has built a strong performing portfolio. All of SRC's apartment assets were purchased opportunistically and successfully re-positioned into thriving communities.

Donnel is the CEO of, a firm which does energy retrofits in low-income neighborhoods. Blockpower is using the Internet of Things, machine learning, and structured finance to build a platform which will scale clean energy in American inner cities. The firm also employs a unique form of impact workforce development for stigmatized people, providing jobs to those who need them most.

She has a mandate to increase the happiness and well-being of people through real estate and was a part of the development of Bushwick Montessori, a mission driven Montessori school built using passive building techniques. She is also a principal in her real estate focused family office.

As CEO of Helped Hope LLC, the Founding Executive Director of the Florida Impact Investing Initiative, and a University Lecturer, Alexander educates ultra high net worth individuals, endowment executives, and large fund allocators on the topics of social enterprise and impact investing.
